Peated Whisky
Peated Whisky is the most discussed and the most loved or hated of all Whisky.
Overall, my personal favourites include:
- Ardbeg 10 yo for it’s overall quality and clarity.
- Caol ila (any age) again for it’s quality.
- Port Ellen, sadly now closed maybe sometime soon Diageo will see the light and reopen this one.
There are a number of the rest that have one or two special editions that are outstanding, my favourite is Bowmore Mariner which sadly is only generally available through duty free stores.
