The club championship will be held in August and the list of 10 malts are as follows:

- Glengoyne 10 yo
- Balvenie Doublewood 12 yo
- Westland Peated Single Malt
- Arran Malt 10 yo
- Cragganmore 12 yo
According to their web sites, all the malts on the list are shown as being available at Dan Murphy and/or Vintage Cellars.
On the night you will be given 4 malts with 6 names. The Maltster who picks the most correct will be crowned the club champion. If there is more than one person who picks correctly, there will be a taste off in September. If more than one person picks all 4 malts correctly the club championship will be shared.
